The Dourbie crosses the green valley between Millau and Saint-Jean-du-Bruel. This valley may be less spectacular as the Tarn valley, as it has more open spaces, but it is just as beautiful. The typical character of this valley is created by the perched villages. Saint-Véran and mainly Cantobre are medieval villages built on rocks or against a cliff. The village of Nant and the medieval covered market with shady terraces is definitely worth a visit.
